Believing in the vision of Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) that stem from the mother vision of Applied Science Private University (ASU), which aims at keeping up with what is happening in the technological education arena, on 8th Jan 2018, the ASU president Professor Mahfouz Joudeh has signed on behalf of FIT a cooperation agreement with Eureka Academy. This Academy is led by Eng Afnan Al-Ali and it is specialized in educating engineering technology and information technology. Eureka Academy is the first academy in the Arab word that runs a scientific program on creative technological education and engineering. It works for developing student skills in engineering and technology fields by teaching students the basic principles of engineering and creativity to transform ideas into tangible products.
The signed cooperation agreement looks for finding all possible collaboration between Staff and student of IT faculty and Eureka Academy such as providing support in developing academic curriculums and supervising technological projects produced by Eureka students in order to assess them before their graduation. The Faculty of Information Technology is keen to arrange mutual trips and workshops with the Academy in order to exchange and develop the skills of both staff and students.
