A delegation from Griffith University in Australia visits the ASU to discuss means of academic cooperation

Professor Mahfouz Judeh, President of the Applied Science Private University met with Professor Peter Woods, Director (International) of Griffith Business School and Mr. Muhannad Bawaz, Regional Director of Griffith University in the Middle East and North Africa, representing a delegation from Griffith University in Australia. The meeting was also attended by Professor Samiha Jarah, Vice President of the University and Professor Iman Bashiti, dean of the faculty of Pharmacy.

​Professor Judeh briefed the delegates about the university and its vision, mission, academic programs, educational environment and its partnerships with various global educational institutions. He also expressed the university's willingness to work in cooperation with the Griffith University in Australia in all academic fields and to exchange expertise.

The delegation visited the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Dr. Abdullah Bataineh, the Faculty Dean Assistant and Head of Marketing Department, and Dr. Tasnim Al-Falah, head of the Department of Business Administration were at their reception. The guests were briefed on the academic programs offered by the faculty and the teaching mechanism. The guests also went on a Faculty tour and were introduced to its various facilities.
 
The visit aimed to promote means of teaching and research cooperation in the various departments of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The two parties discussed future plans of cooperation to exchange students and to participate in scientific research, scholarship and develop their curricula.

The visit was in coordination with the Oval Office group in the presence of the Director-General Dr. Ghalib Al-Assaf, who discussed means of cooperation in activating joint academic programs between the two universities and coordinating the cooperation in scientific research programs and cultural and academic exchanges through sharing the experiences of faculty members.

​The delegation expressed its admiration of the advanced level that the ASU enjoyed through building an effective strategy based on improving the performance in accordance with standards of international universities so as to ensure quality and excellence in scientific research and in educational development.
