The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences was established in 1991. Currently, the Faculty consists of two departments, the Fundamental sciences department including (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematic) Which provides basic science courses in the fields of Chemistry, physics and Mathematics for students of other faculties including Engineering, Pharmacy, Information Technology and Nursing at the Applied Science University, and the Food Science and Nutrition department offers a B.Sc. degree, through a four years program, that comprises relevant scientific courses in both food and nutrition as well as practical training.
